Into the Inner Landscape · Odissi Dance & Clay Sculpture · Sunday, October 25th · 4:00–7:00 PM
Some journeys begin with a gesture.
Into the Inner Landscape is an immersive ceremonial experience created by Zoya Integration Center in collaboration with ATELIER Ceramic Studio and The Ancient Way — an evening where movement, meditation, and clay come together to help you explore what's already living inside you.
This is not a dance class. This is not a pottery workshop. It's something rarer — a guided journey inward, through the body, into form.
Only 10 spots available · $135 per guest · All materials included

How the Evening Unfolds
We begin in ceremony.
You'll arrive to a warm cup of hibiscus tea — a first gesture of opening, associated with vitality, beauty, and creative life force. From there, we move into a grounding meditation and gentle stretching practice, drawing attention inward and away from the noise of the outside world.
Then we move.
Ananta Ripa Ajmera — spiritual teacher, bestselling author of The Way of the Goddess, and co-founder of The Ancient Way — will guide you through the fundamental movements and mudras of Odissi, one of India's most ancient classical dance traditions. Through its sculptural postures, expressive gestures, and rhythmic language, Odissi transforms the body into a mirror.
You'll intuitively select a mudra card and spend time with it — not analyzing, but listening. Feeling what it awakens. Noticing what arises.
The mudra becomes a doorway.
Then we create.
Guided by Ángeles Richard, owner and teaching artist of ATELIER Ceramic Studio, you'll move from movement into matter — translating what has surfaced through meditation and mudra into a personal ritual sculpture. There is no predetermined object. No correct interpretation. Only what your hands know to make.
We will work primarily on the floor to maintain the connection between grounding, movement, and making. Please bring a yoga mat and wear comfortable clothing that allows you to move freely.
We close in circle.
The evening ends with a community sharing — sculptures and reflections, for those who wish. Each guest leaves with their piece, and with a copy of The Way of the Goddess to continue the journey beyond the studio.
