There's something about the wheel that gets into you.
This 5-week course is your dedicated introduction to wheel throwing — a guided, hands-on journey from your very first cylinder to a collection of finished, glazed pieces you made yourself. Each session builds on the last, and by the end you'll have real skills, real confidence, and something genuinely beautiful to take home.
This is for true beginners. No experience needed — just a willingness to show up, get your hands dirty, and see what happens.

What You'll Learn Week by Week
Week 1 — Introduction to the wheel + centering clay. Getting comfortable, learning the basics, and finding your footing on the wheel
Week 2 — Throwing cylinders. The foundation of almost everything — cups, mugs, vases all start here
Week 3 — Bowls. Opening up your forms, controlling shape and thickness, and learning to let the clay move
Week 4 — Trimming and handles. Refining your pieces, cleaning up your bases, and pulling and attaching handles
Week 5 — Glazing. Finishing your collection with beautiful glazes and getting your pieces kiln-ready
