Discover the beauty of slowing down and creating with your hands in this 5-week Introduction to Handbuilding — a guided journey through the foundations of working with clay.
Each class will explore techniques such as pinching, coiling, and slab building, as well as surface design and finishing. By the end of the course, you'll have a collection of functional and sculptural ceramic pieces — all made by hand and fired in our kiln.
No prior experience needed — just curiosity, creativity, and a willingness to play with clay.
Session 1 — Wednesday, November 11th
Session 2 — Wednesday, November 18th
Session 3 — Wednesday, December 2nd
Session 4 — Wednesday, December 9th
Session 5 — Wednesday, December 16th
No class November 25th.
